Is Mercury Auto Transport legit, or a scam?

It is a real company: FMCSA listed an active registration for Mercury Auto Transport LLC under USDOT 2242305 when we checked on Sep 15, 2026, with a record dating from 2011. A license means a company may legally arrange your shipment; it says nothing about whether they are good at it. Check the reviews, get the total price and cancellation terms in writing, and look the USDOT number up yourself before you pay.

Does Mercury Auto Transport require a deposit?

Mercury says it takes no payment at booking and charges only after you approve a carrier and it is assigned. Confirm when payment is due and what cancelling costs in your written agreement.

Does Mercury Auto Transport offer enclosed transport?
